I have 2 MP40s on a 6ft tank. I get good flow, but i really want more back and forth movement. My flow is more linear that i would like, especially on the bottom of the tank where the water is drawn up by the pumps. I run mostly wave pulse at 2 second intervals and reef crest. Any suggestions for getting more back and forth movement? Thanks!

Do you mean the pump is idle for 2 seconds or is active for 2 seconds? Try reducing the idle time to one second on the short pulse.

I have a 120g with the MP40's on pulse mode. My tank is 4' long, and I have it set to 450ms and get a perfect wave. I think 2 seconds is too long for that sized tank.
