My MP40 controller flashes red and yellow (lights above buttons just flash on/off blue).
It won’t turn on, tried hard/soft resets I saw on youtube. I have been running 2 of them for 2 weeks or so. Shut down power for tank cleaning, started back up and only one came on.

They are both MP40 Wireless but I am running them manually. Picked them up used here. Just looked and saw the serial # with manufacturer date of 2012..... toss it in the garbage or is there anything I can do?

I swapped controllers and it is the controller that is bad. Both dry-sides work, and both power supplies are good. Controller is bad. Can I replace an ancient controller like that with a new QD one, or are there years of compatibility?

Just make sure to use the old wireless card in the new driver.

Update: Installed 2 new QD drivers and these things are COMPLETELY silent. Highly recommended for those with older models!
