I've got 2 MP40's on a 6ftx25in tank. Whenever I go into feed mode, the ATO triggers on (osmolator). Is this a common thing? Nothing is connected to a controller at this time. Wonder if they are positioned too high in the tank? They are not suckling air or anything.

Is your ato level in the display tank? If it’s in the sump, I can’t see a reason why the ato would turn on when they’re on feed mode.
Just make sure the ato sensor is in calm area in the sump is my only suggestion

Are the powerheads in the vicinity of your overflows?

What could be happening is the powerheads are causing a water level rise at your overflows, causing more water to overflow. When they are off the level at the overflows is lower, causing less water to overflow and a drop of water level in your sump triggering the ATO.

I have an AIO but that is exactly what happens in my tank. When I shut off the powerheads level drops in the return chamber triggering the ATO.

When I shut off the powerheads I also shutoff the ATO.
