MP40 vortech sync

I’m trying to sync two Mp40s on mobius. My brother in law gave me one… maybe its 4 years old (guess) and the other one i recently purchased. Möbius is only recognizing one. Any of you who have been in the game for a minute know if there some of the older mp40s don’t have Bluetooth or can’t connect to mobius or can’t sync? Attached is a side by side photo of the two, they look the same to me.

Did you check for legacy devices? 4 years old might be too old for the newer chip that Mobius requires. You can buy the chip from Ecotech and upgrade it easy enough

Do you know how i check and where i get the upgrade? Didn’t seem immediately obvious on their website

I believe 2017 early is the split. You can check via the serial # and for sure take it apart and look if the circuit board is black or green. Sometimes you have to reset the system because it is still on your brothers settings so it is locked out to you. One time it just wouldn't see it but then I pulled the RF chip while powered up and then it did. But maybe someone stole your chip...
