MP40QD Wet Frame Assembly vs the full wet side

Has anyone tried this kit without having to buy a whole wet side?. It seems that if your magnet and propeller are fine then this would work and would be a heck of a lot cheaper then buying the whole wet side.

I don't think I've had a wet side fail yet but I suppose if this is the part that has failed then sure it should work.
