Mr Coral....very bad experience

So in November 2013 I placed a medium sized order about 12 pieces of Zoas and SPS

Superman Millie
Tequila Sunrise Millie
Pink Lemonade
And more

Well I receive my order and it's late to the door but that's not the worst part. Most of its dead or dying. I send emails and we go back and fourth about it. A deal is made to reship the order. Now the fun part. I've notice that the coral sent are not even the same corals as I bought. I purchased 6 types of SPS

Millie's
Prostrata
Tenius
Digitata
Deep water
Granulosa

We all know that they have very different coralite structures, growth, polyps and more. What I see in my order is nothing but straight Millie's....nothing else. I asked about this. Sunny's response was that "you know they are not WYSIWYG" I understand that. But in the listings that I picked it stated that WYSIWYG. That's what I thought I was getting. Not even the same corals were shipped. He claims that it meant that you'll receive something from the same colony. I fully understood that. But shipping corals that were not even what you ordered is way different.

Part 2
Everything is fresh cut...I mean everything is fresh cut. Cut, Glued and shipped. No chance of ever healing

Part 3

After going back with emails for a few days it's decided that he will recut, heal and ship out the replacement corals after having it out with UPS.
Fast forward 2 months. Still no shipments received. I get emails about weather, still not happy with the frags and were are running low on that coral. So I wait. Giving him the benefit of the doubt. I see that he has a few more corals that I'm interested in so I make a deal to add a few more frags to the order to help with the replacement frags he's already sending out. I'm. At over $250.00 I've paid him. I have records for proof.

Part 4
Now it's May 2104- after over 200 hundred emails about coral health, (I also kept every single email that I sent and that he sent) current stock, shipping delays, not being in the office, I missed another truck from UPS, we ran out of that coral, it's in high demand can't ship you the coral you bought and paid for, choose another, no another coral. I mean he gave me about 30 different excuses about why he couldn't ship why he wanted to cut the frags to let them heal and he wanted me to be happy with the order. I finally receive my order of Frags. Now at this point I knew a few would be fresh cut and I accepted that. 3 or 4 out of the now 30 frags in my order I was cool with. My order arrives late again in which he was ****** about and I was too bit the order looked more promising this time. Now this time around I had ordered more SPS giving me 8 types of SPS including the Strawberry Shortcake, Superman Millie, Lokani, Granulosa, Prostrata, Deep Water, Tennius and more not including the Zoas and Palys I ordered which is a whole other ball of Wax. I ordered one of each of his best ones about 15 total.

What do I get in my box 100% fresh cut frags. Every single frag is fresh cut. Nothing healed or healthy. None of the Frahs I asked for and paid for. No SSC, No Superman Digi, all of the SPS look like they are cut from the same colony not separate colonies but 1 colony. The only one that looks correct is the deep water. But even then it's nothing like the pictures. I ask about the quality of the frags and I get the same canned answer about I knew about fresh cuts and that again they are not WYSIWYG. Again I remind him that on his site it's states That what you order is what you get and it's the same answers back.

Part 6
2 days later the entire order is dead, I missing frags I ordered, I'm short frags and more. I have so had it with this guy. He's lied at every email. His stock is not even close to what you get Or in the photos he posts. By the way I found that he reuses the same stock photos on every single order. He's selling things that he's says he's out of and then ships it out to someone else. He re lists the stuff I was told he was out of and in my order. He's never updated the site with what's in stock. He claims that he's short on everything but lists it all on eBay everyday. The same stuff over and over and over agin. This cut is a Running a coral chop shop! I tried to be patient with him. I waited 6 months for my order. I was polite at very corner but I still got lied to, sold junk and then ripped off.


The above is 100% my story and I can prove it all with the 200+ emails! PayPal records and more. Photos if needed. I have about 30 frags on nothing. Dead corals that never had a chance to make it. I recently learned that a few of my fellow reefers in my area had also received the same type of orders, fresh cuts, dead corals and missing frags. I have never written a bad review but after what he did I felt this needed to be said. I read the recent reviews online....not his eBay store but other forums and such. You can google him and see that I'm not making this stuff up. I'm not out to get him but I would like a real answer about the orders. Do I want replacements sure, will they survive maybe? will they be fresh cuts? Yes absolutely. I know that in this hobby there is no guarantee in Frags but giving them a healthy head start helps.

Did he have to replace the original corals maybe not, but he did have to send me what I paid for. And that's a fact. You should receive what you paid for not another SPS of the same type. I ordered a Prostrata I should get a Prostrata. I ordered a Tennius not another Millie. So in closing you can do your own research and take me review any way you want it. Do I have proof? Yes . do I have all of the frag plugs? Yes do I have the Paypal receipts? Yes. Do I have the emails? Yes

Umm excuse me but.....I just got done going through ALL vendor's feed back threads and there are many with "other" post besides the original from the OP. But what's strange is they haven't been deleted. Is it because they are of a positive nature? Please LMK because something seems a little off with this. Look at the one (SexyCorals) with 142 post!!

Yes positive comments are normally left alone because they don't normally end up in a dispute or turn into a public thrashing that leads to the two parties not being able to work things out. The ones that need to be worked out are kept between the two parties but left in the public view so everyone can see how things are handled but aren't meant to be a public thrashing of any one vendor.

Again, each time UPS drop the ball on this package. Not sure what is going on in your area. As my website states I'm not liable for any delay with UPS!! However, what I did was I replace the order ON ME!!! I did not have to do this but I was taken care of you!!!!. I could of just said read my policy deal with UPS but I did not. On the 2nd shipment I told you there was going to be fresh cut items and I would like to wait. You said please ship they will be fine!! Of course after another UPS delay there are issues. If you want to work out a shipment to another location or a Hub or UPS store I can help you out Again.

I would love to have the corals I ordered sent back out. I just want the corals I ordered and paid for and healthy corals that are not newly fragged. That's the big thing. Send me the corals I ordered from my original ordered lists and the stuff I paid for later on. You are still listing them all on you site and eBay so you should have them all in stock. That's all I ever wanted from you. I'll send you an address to ship to. If you can settle it on your end you'll never see another bad review from me. I'll be happy.

Plus I don't want to have to wait another 6 months for my order.

I have sent Mr. Coral a PM about reshipping the order. I've asked that he ship me my original orders and that they not be fresh cut frags and healthy before he ships. I've given him an alternate address to ship to that's with in 15 minutes of the West Sac UPS hub.

I did not ask for any extras, freebies or upgrades only what I paid for from the start. It is now up to him on what he wants to do.

As for anyone reading this please only take my experiance as information and education. I don't know Sunny personally and I'm not attacking his business in hopes that he losses customers. I only want to see his methods changed to allow for a much higher survival Rate at the end users tank. I hate seeing dead corals for no reason. I hope that Mr. Corals will see this and know I only wanted the best.

Doesn't that appear to give favoritism to the vendor, though? Feedback is feedback, good or bad. Don't you think someone coming across a "get your hawt frags!" post, and then seeing all this great feedback on it, would sway some folks? I doubt they go to the vendor feedback forum at that point. So if any of those were shills (very possible nowadays), then it's affected a buyers decision by not presenting the information in one consistent location.

If I was gonna go around and delete every positive comment it would be a full time job. The point of this forum is to show the good feedback while giving you guys/gals somewhere in the public view to work out the bad without it turning into a 12 page attack on anyone. The bad stuff is meant to be read and not commented on. This way you not only see who has bad feedback but how they handled it and fixed mistakes. I assure you that we have zero favoritism and want everyone to see the good and the bad, otherwise we would just completely remove the bad and this forum wouldn't exist. It's not like we're paid or compensated in anyway for what we do on R2R, we volunteer to handle this stuff and we use the same vendors as you. In fact you'll even see some negative feedback from us from time to time. I'm sorry if it comes off another way but we really do try to keep a balance to things. I know this isn't the answer some want but we really do try to work hard for you I hope that kinda answers your questions Ronnie.

I'm not going back and fourth and babysitting this post. I did not have to replace anything!!! UPS drop the ball on both packages!! I took it upon myself to try to help out a customer now I get bashed. Make a lot of sense!! Here is my feedback. Our we perfect? NO!!! When shipping livestock find someone who is??? On top of that UPS was late with both package!!! I should of just said deal with UPS it not my issues????? I would of never got this post. As you can see by my feedback I do not do that!!! We are in business to make people happy and that is what we do!! This will be my last post on this.

I saw your eBay feed back. I'm not an eBay customer. Not all of your feed back is positive beyond eBay. You still run a website to sell from and you still fill those orders. As I said before this thread was not to bash you. That's why I spent the time to write out a full and thorough review. I could have just said "Mr. Coral sucks, never buy from him" but I didn't. I wanted people to make their own judgements. That's why only the facts are in my posts. Nothing more. I stated that you didn't have to replace them but I went and added another 100+ to my order to help out with the UPS issues and to offset the cost of reshipping out another order.

And as to UPS it's the shipper who makes the claims not the buyer. I tried and was told that they needed to get with you. That's after 5 calls to UPS.

I replied to your PM. So again it's in your court. I want to get this taken care of. That's all. If you can reship my complete order ( both bought and paid for full orders, all SPS and Z&P) you'll never hear from me again. I will have the thread closed and removed if they can. I want the stuff I ordered not anything else. So all of the Millie's, Tenuis, Prostrata, Granulosa, Loropidis, Deep Water, SSC along with all of my Zoas and Palys I'll be happy. I don't want freebies or upgrades just my original orders.

Well looks like Mr.Coral is putting everything on shipping bypassing every other issue I listed above. I don't see any resolution anytime soon. Says if I delete the review he will reship my order. I don't think I'm I the wrong. He thinks I'm wrong about his site showing on several current listing that WYSIWYG is WYSIWYG. I read the listing he speaks of that say the item is a representation of what you get. That's cool BUT......it's not on every listing. It's on some and not others.
I've talked to UPS. Nothing I can do about it. I'm not the shipper. I'm the buyer. The shipper files the claim. So I can even start that process. He has yet to acknowledge the issues of

All the same SPS not my order
Following DOA policies and procedures which I did
Continues to revert back to Ebay sales reviews
The fact that I paid out $250.00 for something I got that I did not order!

The vendor and I have come to an agreement and he is going to make the order right. He's been trying to figure it out. I hope that we will be able to do business again in the future moving forward.
