Hi there Everybody
My name is Arne T I have 2 marine tanks Read Sea Max 170 light Read Sea 90mand a Nono Max lamp Ai I seek advice for the the best light settings for my corals.
I have mostly soft corals do to every time I buy sps or lps they only last for a couple of month.
My water parameters seams to be okay, I can not test Calsium but Alkalinity is between 8 and 10,6 nitrate 2 ph between 8,2 to 8,6 phosfat 0,2 salt 35
only chance water if nitrate goes up 20% in the Nano and 10 % in the 170
Advice would be preciated.

Hi Arne and Welcome! Glad you joined

I'll defer to others on lighting. Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. Like you, I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

Welcome to R2R!

Lighting is tricky. Can you be a bit more specific about what setup you have for both tanks? How high are the lights mounted above the water? What lighting schedule/spectrum/intensity are you using? Lots of factors at play to evaluate.

WELCOME! Lighting can be tricky but with mostly softies, I'd start lower and work my way up as needed. Your corals talk to you. YOu just need to learn their language.
