much needed diy frag tank clean up tower build

Been along time since I have done any diy projects....forgot how long everything takes.lol
added a 20gFT hooked to my display a while back and since it was right next to my DT figured I had to make it look the part. Well after a while of use it becomes cluttered dirty and not very efficient for use. So I rearranged and built a tower and I like the outcome. Initial setup looked sweet but was confusing for its purpose. Some projects inside 5he tank end up becoming a crash course in civil engineering and take all day......I know this one did.

Still some rearranging to do but turned out pretty sweet. More efficient.

Noticed after a bit the 1st attempt didn't meet up to standards. A lot of shading goin on and after bustin out the par meter decided that some changes needed to be made. Rotated all the shelves down a spot moving the bottom to the top and adding a few more vertical braces. Built it upside down.

The mini shelves on the vertical braces turned out sweet. Not only utilizing good space but making a somewhat unpleasant thing to look at a lil more pleasant.

Haha thanks. Ya I bet a good 6-12pack went into and helped with this project.
Im digging these little single and double shelves coming off the vertical braces on the tower. It looks incredibly sale helpful. Invited a shop manager to see the tank the other day and now the idea is at his store coming off the sides of his flats. Really looks great for spotlighting or showcasing a specific coral frag.
