Looking for identification for fish disease. Everyone is currently in a 100g stock tank. Originally thought it was Brook. I ran metro course. Still loosing fish 1-2 a day. Whatever this is progresses extremely fast. Fish will be fine one day and dead the next looking like this.

#fishmedics any ideas? To me that looks like velvet, but i am far from an expert
Sailfin during initial outbreak in display.
Oddly enough he healed up pretty well. Still kicking.
Another note, I’ve noticed white stringy poop recently. I have copper power up to 1.5. Tomorrow will be at 2. Day after 2.5.
Plan on feeding GC + focused laced food. Before I do anything else I’ll wait for guidance from the experts.

What symptoms have your fish had in the days prior to their death?
Rapid Breathing, not eating, scratching, flashing, swimming in flow, etc.

The skin peeling is the most noticeable.
I’d say they breathe heavy. None of them are wanting to eat. Most everyone was eating day after they went into qt. Now even the most ferocious eaters have no interest. I haven’t noticed any scratching or flashing. They just kinda wanna lay there and not move at all. It’s not typically days. A fish that looks fine will be in critical condition like the first pics I posted rather fast. And will be dead hrs later.

I would ramp up the Copper Power Faster but you should also consider an Antibiotic as well like Metro.
Also, can you list the Fish that you lost? Most likely Velvet. Could also be some Bacterial problem. When you transferred your fish was into new water?

This isn't how velvet affects fish - with that disease, you will see rapid breathing, not eating and death in most/all fish in a few days. If you see ANY changes to the skin, it will be right before the fish dies, and then, it will be a general cloudiness.

You do need to ramp your copper up to full dose much faster, it isn't going to help at all until you get to 2.25 ppm

Do NOT mix Focus and General Cure! Somebody gave you terrible advice. The oral dose for the two medications GC contains are different, so it is impossible to get the correct dose. GC can only be used in the water. You might want to try that though, because I can't rule out flukes in this case.....however, mixing GC and copper does increase the stress on the fish.
