For a future build. 8’x4’x36” high tank could you, if they were introduced at the same time, add multiple sailfin tangs to a large reef tank? I should ask this in a different way. Has anyone done this? I would introduce them as juveniles. Thoughts?

Interested to hear replies. If general consensus is no, then you could always look into convicts instead. (Better algae eaters IMO anyway)

Roughly 700 gallons. I’ve seen more with less.
Meaning you have seen a tank with multiple sailfins that is smaller than my proposed tank and it worked well. Good to know.

Yeah these babies would be the luxury fish. I would have rabbits and yellow tangs for algae control. Convicts don’t ship the best. I do love them however.
