mummy eye color

have this guy placed low in my tank under 6 bulb tek elite and 1 reefbrite its growing pretty fast but i wanna get more green out of it should i raise it up or shade it?

There are several mummy eyes. The ones I had if they are too high they turn orange just like the eyes. There are many mummy eye some are not as green as others some I would not even call a true green. I think the best green is Cornbreds. It all depends on the one you have if it can get a better green. Do you know which you have?

IMO less light will produce darker greens. Now if it is a metallic green like the Oregon Mummy eye that requires more light to bring it out, but not to the point that it will turn orange

I have the tyree original mummy eye and it gets darker green under lower light......lighter green under high light (mine has never turned the orange color, but I have never had mine under that much light)
