I got this as a reverse mummy eye from an old reefer breaking down. His tank was having temp spikes and I thought this might have contributed to the discoloration. However, in my tank its not doing much better.

I am not sure what type of chalice this is nor how to best take care of it. I tried to shade it for two weeks and it seemed to get deeper color but not by much.

I don't test for magnesium and other trace elements and think maybe that is it. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
