I just added a cap for every 10 gallons. 6 caps for 60 gallons. My mushrooms now look like this after two hours? What do you think is going on?

There are two of them. The front doesnt look that bad just smaller. The back one is small and shriveled up.

I added it in Hope's it would help clear up the Cyano in my Fuge.

Has anyone ever seen this?

FWIW, I normally dose at half strength anything that isn't medication.

Especially if it's some additive that I have never used before.

Dr Tim's is good stuff. Bacteria in a bottle usually lowers the O2 so don't go crazy with it. [emoji846]

Normally your fish would be affected 1st because of less oxygen.

It has been a day. How does everything look now?

Really good! :) I was commenting to my wife that everything looks great. My Elegance Coral hasn't been as full and big like today for a couple months. I did dose half strength. Some have called it "snake oil" but honestly I cannot explain how everything looked great today. Maybe it is what my system needed.

They must have been hungry for bacteria.
Didn't even think about that. Also Eco Balance says it has strains of bacteria that fight off bad bacteria. I wonder if I had some bad bacteria causing some of the corals stress?

It says to dose Eco Balance weekly. I am not going to go that extreme. I am thinking maybe once a month though couldn't hurt.
