The only shrooms I have currently are Ricordea florida, and that looks more like a Ricordea to me, though I claim to be an authority in absolutely nothing :-)

It does have some ricordea similarities but
Im going with discoma.
You could rename it to disco discoma and photoshop some neon colors in it and sell it for $1 million dollars

Thanks for your reply! I've been appreciating your posts, and can tell you have a strong background. Again, I don't claim to be a coral morphology or identification expert, but the above pic looks just like my Ricordea florida's. That said, I have always wondered if what I'm being sold labeled Ricordea florida is actually a Ricordea florida, and not something else. Thanks again!

Just post a picture Im no expert either.
Im constantly learning and have brain damage so engaging in these posts actually is helping my brain.
I love to identify corals.

LOL!, I wish, I went to get frozen food and the store has the cheapest prices on frozen food but tiny coral collection with no knowledge. It was 15.00 and I need lower light coral for fill in those areas.

Nope I’m retired
I took a photography class in college learned some basics. Used my entire Gi bill on fun classes for four years just had to change my major every semester almost have an associate degree in everything….lol
It was fun but ran out of gi bill money otherwise I’d probably go to school forever.

I hated school as a kid, but went back as an adult (twice (Bio/Chem and Tech)) and I would do unspeakable things to just be a student forever. I love it as an adult. Especially after the core requisites, then you can just take whatever you're interested in.
