Great pics, y'all. Can't argue with these choices. One that is not mentioned that is starting to look amazing in my 12og DT is the CR Electric Myagi Tort. But you need to give it time to grow out and to view it under both T5s and Blue/Violet LEDs - else the coral looks good but not spellbinding. Easy, fast grower, too. The same comments apply to the Tricolor valida -- give it time and the right lighting, then...LOOKOUT! Bottom line: you don't have to bankroll your hobby to have an amazing cultivated reef.

SCOP, pink lemonade, red planet or TDF, Oregon tort, Vivid rainbow, WD, Pink Floyd, ASD rainbow Mille, RMF red devil, JKR rainbow, CC Disney Jr.

I feel those are basic “must haves” and anything else you can afford is a bonus.

Yea, I'm not catbon dosing or running gfo. It's because I tried Tropic Marin all for reef and I just couldn't get it dialed in, Alk jumped all over.
Just keep in mind that when dosing Tropi Marin Carbocalcium or All-For-Reef, there is an initial lag time for the first few doses to have the alkaliniry to show up. This lag time can be as much as a couple of days. After using the product for a week or two, this all becomes irrelevant. But if you make your first dose, and check alkalinity quickly, you will have that trouble "dialing it in". You dont see that issue after a few days.

I had to have these two for sure... two of my all time favorites. I'm not really into the named corals, I just buy what I like and typically don't spend any more than $40 for any frag. My personal must-haves also include:

Milka stylo
crayola stag (purple/blue)
Hawkins - only took me about 8 years to finally get one!

There are some tenuis and lokani that I think are pretty amazing and I'll try to get a few of them, but I wouldn't call them must-haves. I like the BIG corals and now that I have a big tank, I want to take advantage of the space.

Am I weird that I absolutely love the WWC Madman Austera and BC Sour Apple Caraliniana?

That would have been nice to know. You might want to consider putting such info on your site and the product packaging.
