My 106 gall cube and led build.

My buddy came over gave me a hand and the black vinyl is on. Sucks because I paid extra for starphire glass and have to cover one side. lol. o well. All in all took 35 minutes. Not to bad.

Wow that tank looks like it was made to be there! how many LEDs did you get and colors? Also what drivers are you using and are they dimmable? I just absolutely love LED builds and I have millions of ideas myself if I ever decide to make my own LED fixture. I'm curious how the lights are attached to that box... It is open on top correct? Also did you feel the need to put fans on top of the LEDs or do they run cool enough not to worry?

It is 56, 3 watt crees, 24 cool white and 32 royal blues with 40 deg optics " Which are to hot". They are screwed on to the heat sink with a lil heat past on the back of each led. I origanaly only put one fan on them but decided to add another to each heat sink. Rapid led said that as long as it does not get over 125 deg all is well. Now with 2 fans on it does not even get close to getting hot. They are dimmable and the drivers are from rapid LED. which drive 14 LED a piece With a 7 or 10 or 12 hour dawn to dusk setting.

Looks awesome!

Absolutely love this setup. I have a corner area were my 29 biocube is and this is what i want to do eventually. I love the canopy!! Not sure i have to same amount of space you have but my thoughts are very similar. Thanks for sharing!!

Another fish update. Added 5 anthias couple days ago cant seem to get them all to stand still to get a good pic. So this is the best I can do.
