On a serious note, might as well document it here, I think i'm going to dial back my all for reef dose and add some kalkwasser added in the evening to keep my ph up a bit. My skimmer is already vented outside but I have a basement sump and I'm not ready to purchase an air exchanger for my aquarium

I get it, Mike. You're a cheapo. How do I know? Because it takes one to know one.

How big is your line feeding the outside air to your skimmer?

Also, FWIW, I have always been and will probably always be a fan of kalkwasser.

I ran 1/2" pvc. A couple 90's and probably 15' of pipe total. I dont think its restricting because if I start my skimmer unhooked, dial it in, and plug it into the pipe it doesnt really change the amount of bubbles. Its just a reef octopus 150 classic, so nothing huge

I also have a surprise! Inspired by @kevgib67 I kept it a secret(mostly) and ordered 2 new nicrew hyperreef 200 and got those installed those this afternoon.

Its just regular base rock that I smashed, superglued, and epoxied into the shape I like. Plus a couple chunks I got from cultivated reef to see the tank.

Ooohheee! That is looking great! Loved the video too, with the music it felt like i was on an elevator, but with a way better view
Really though, your coral placement looks awesome, perfect layout to get some nice sized colonies before they start fighting. Beautiful tank!
