My 140 sps tank

Home made chaeto reactor after 1 week of growth from 2 small clumps. Pretty impressed, not sure if it really makes a difference in a tank this size but still kinda cool.

My Moorish idol stayed away from coral for 1 year by getting live Orange tree sponge. Then it was on to my Lps

2 Weeks worth of growth from my chaeto reactor filled the whole reactor. Pretty amazed on how fast it grows in a cheap DIY reactor. Happy that I didn't waste 700 on the parabellum unit.

Hi,

the colors on your corals are insane. Can you please share your parameters? Carbon dosing? I'd like to know more about your dosings/manteinance.
What type of led are you usingfor your DIY chaeto reactor?

Thank you in advance

I am looking into make that same reactor is that DIY or did you buy it that way?

Wow gorgeous reef!

Nice collection you have there. What are the dimensions of your tank? I like the size.

Beautiful tank man! Amazing result on treating your bryopsis with peroxide! With how your tank looks now, so very thankful you found out about peroxide and tried it before rebooting.

Hi
Very beautiful. Where do you keep your parameters ?

Thanks all!

I keep my parameters at 8ish for alk, calcium is everywhere from 360-440, no3 0.5-1 and po4 under 0.1.

Nothing fancy in the system, over sized bk supermarin 250 skimmer on a total volume of 150ish gallons. Tank size is 48x28x24h. Sump is a 40 gallon breeder loaded with 1 marine pure block, no3 brick and a bag of marine pure biospheres from brightwell. I use all in one biopellets and recently switched over to an algae reactor that I made from a tlf550 and this led strip, you can purchase just the strip $35 cad so that's like $2 us...just kidding $28 us, lfs also have it premade ready to go. Cheap and effective.
