Still trying to get over the jet lag, was up at 3am but did manage to go back to sleep a couple of hours later. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better and can start taking fish and rock out of the 180 and transfer to the holding containers.

No kidding! It is way easier for me to get acclimated to warmer weather than colder. Yeah, it’s 10 1/2 hour time difference. My body was just getting use to the time and then we came back.

And so it begins…
My neighbor has a large koi pond and is letting me borrow some of his containers for transferring fish and rock.

Well I am missing my green coris wrasse which is probably in my sand bed. Don’t know if I will find it again. I did find a scarlet or red legged crab that I didn’t know I still had. And found this guy too, friend or foe? I’m thinking it’s a foe by its pointy claws.

Thanks I hope I find it too. About 2” of water left in the tank now. Rest will have to wait until tomorrow. No heat so not sure if wrasse will survive if it is still in the tank. Maybe in a hole in a rock too. Time will tell I guess. The sump is drained and I’m taking it out after dinner, then I’m done for the night.

I don’t feel comfortable leaving a burning candle all night. Basement has its own zone for the furnace so I’ll just turn it up a little bit. ;)

Well all fish are accounted for this morning except the green coris wrasse. I would thought it would of come out of the sandbed by now if it was still in the tank. Maybe it will still turn up, you never know.
