I've been in the process of building and buying equipment for a year now lol. Slowly but surly I'm getting there. Have the tank, and turned a 55g into a refugium. The stand is built but now in the process of leveling the stand since the floor slopes so much in my basement. I've gotten my protein skimmer (s300 eshopps), my pump (jabeo 9000), have a light for refugium (led refugium light from reef radiance), lights for the tank (current USA orbit, going to be a predator tank so wasn't trying to go all out when there isn't coral)

Really like the cutout idea, assuming this is the fuge area view?

Craftsmanship looks superb!

Did you use epoxy to make the rock aquascape?
No I just carefully stacked them and tried moving them around till they were snug. I did move a couple in the middle to make it a little more secure since these photos were taken. Once I start getting some fish in there I'm sure I'll be doing some adjusting. But right now I only have a yellow tail damsel in there as a tester fish lol.

I get worried, when I do mine, they might collapse. Lol I don't really wanna drill them and use acrylic rods like everyone talks about.

Yeah I've never wanted to do all that either. I've had my 75g going for several years now and did it the same way with no major problems. Whenever I rearrange them I would have my kids run around and jump around the house lol they were my cheap wave maker. My tanks are in my basement though now so don't worry about them anymore.

In louisiana, there are no such thing as basements. Lol Just can't have them here I guess. Even graves are above ground.
