I added two ocellaris clownfish to my tank yesterday. They were in the same tank and about the same size. They've spent the last day swimming around their tank.

I also picked up a couple nassarius snails for housekeeping. They quickly burrowed into the sand.

I can't lie looking at all of your tanks with corals has me wanting to try, but I'm not sure if I'm ready. Especially since my tank is still new.

Also, please excuse the sand dust on the glass. I've been slowly cleaning it off.

Welcome to the 20 club. I like the scape.

Thank you! I only had four pieces of live rock when I first set it up. But I felt like it was a little sparse and I wanted to get a couple more pieces. So I added two more decent size pieces of rock.

Patience is the best thing to have in the hobby! I can understand the thought of being jealous of others, but you will get there one day!

Just checking but you are aware your cute little clowns are eventually going to fight when one decides to transition to female? Just mentioning it because I see a lot of why are my clownfish fighting all of a sudden after getting along for months threads. Apologies you are aware.

I was under the impression to get them at the same size. Crap.

Should I get a barrier just in case they start to fight?

They're already in together so it's probably easier to just let them figure things out on their own. Many people do it that way and it works out fine. I just thought I would mention it because most lfs don't explain the process so people are caught off guard when two fish that have been best buds for months all of a sudden start fighting.
Just for reference I buy clowns in person and I'll buy one the most aggressive ones in a group then go to another store and get one of the least aggressive and then add them. That has helped prevent aggression when pairing. Another options is to grow one to female then add a little male in an acclimation box later but many people don't have the patience for that.
This is just how I do it because I hate watching fish fight.

That starfish came with the rock. Of course, one of my clowns had to get in on the action.

I added 3 blue leg hermit crabs along with a turbo snail.

My Jawfish also arrived two weeks ago. He's made multiple homes under the rock. He's really good at kicking up dust during the day.
