Just a return filter pad and carbon with a heater

And stocked with the correct sponges live and micro feather dusters and reef safe micro stars and reef safe pods a few diffrent types and sizes

This is a unknown type of montie it had no identification when I bought it other then the growth characteristics which are

Plating like a cap but it will have narrow spiky branches much thiner then digitata its the same age as the forest fire but grows alot slower

Montipora stellata I believe

And lastly as of now the montipora cap. Which used to be on the bottom of the tank and got this big so let's see what happens up here

You can no longer see where it was originally mounted and has taken over the rock its on and would be bigger but I kept hitting it cleaning the glass one of the reasons things got rearanged

It's also what made me realize these guy would kill most of the soft coral

This will be a richordia field and they kill montipora where they touch so I keep them back but they will eventually fill the entire area in

Going for the vivid purple cap. from world wide and the German blue digitata from tidal gardens (enless I get my hands on a blue birdsnest then it'll go there instead)

The plan is the yellow pink one grows into the orange and purple one over time and since they are all caps I'm hoping they will mix

Then the rest of the monties I'll either let grow together if they will or trim back away from eachother

Over time I want to bonsai them into cool looking shapes
