Hello all. I decided to share my tank setup and see what everyone thinks. I got a 40 breeder from a local club member. It came with the tank stand and a 20 long for a sump. It has a bean animal overflow and as I'm new to them I'm so far impressed with the design.

My equipment list is as follows. For a return pump I went with a rodc 3500. The pump itself is by far the most silent pump I have ever used.

Lighting is done by a radion Gen 3 and will be adding another one this week. I have it turned down to 20% and slowly bumping it up over the next few months.

Circulation is done by 3 mp10wes on ntm or reef crest. These are also turned down to about 20%. I only really need one but like the idea I can have flow in the whole tank with no dead spots.

I'm using a rkl for the controller but I am so used to a apex that j will probably be swapping it out for a apex in the near future.

I also am adding 3 brs dosing pumps for now until the vertex libra gets a little better control. I've seen alot of issues online with them. If anyone has one please let me know how it works for you. Ato I'll be adding a tunze osmolator with a 5 gallon ro tank for its feed.
