Not much to really report...acans are still fading away while everything else does well...

Just ordered a new 30" x 18 " x 16" sump from John @ Advance Acrylics, time to upgrade the skimmer!!

Should have it next week, can't wait to replace the Cadlights sump...

I definitely do!

I think the general consensus is that the acans were lost due to bacterial infections. Because of that no acans for at little while then we'll see what happens. I am thankful everything else in the tank is doing well.

Looks good, I have a question for ya though.. Would 1 radion light up the tank enough for say zoas and LPS? Im thnking about grabbing a tank with similiar dimensions, and tryin to price stuff out before i make a committment to it. Thanks!

Any pics of the new sump setup you ordered? About the skimmer I would leave where its set right now as the skim looks to be the color of tea. Its perfect; not to much and not to little skim!

Doubtful, I agree with EcoTech's 24" spread guideline. You'd have to hang it pretty high to get enough spread to cover a tank this size.

Here's the sump.

Overflow runs into a sock in a section with the skimmer, the into an area filled with rock and on to the return area where the heater, Seneye, probes and reactor are.
