So I used to wholesale aquatic life, reptiles, and aviary. When

protein skimmers used air stones lol. I came back a few months ago with a plan.

75g glass framed
Built stand
20g older Marineland model 3 sump(modified)
3"pvc weir overflow with 3/4" drain
Jebao dct4 return pump
Sicce Syncra 1.5 for various needs
Two Little Fishie Reactor
Coral Life65 skimmer(I know I know lol) I didn't buy this lol
Eheim 300w Thermo Control
Inkbird Controller
Hygger wavemaker
Current USA IC Led 48-60"

80# dry rock for scape, used about 65#
60# AragAlive Fiji Pink

I started building a stand the week of Christmas 21'
Tank was purchased in March dollar per gallon, paid $107

Scape took about two weeks to build, since I was used to stacking Fiji in the past, and familiar with epoxy and super gluing my fingers together lol

I mixed reef crystals, rodi water the day before Easter 22'

On Easter 22' when the water had reached 80° the sg was .018
I started dosing ammonium chloride to 2ppm(so many drops lol). After 4 hours when Ammonia was 2ppm I started Micro Bacter XLM and the cycle had started.
After a week and a half the nitrite was still 5ppm but lowering. I decided to add 5 green chrommie to boost cycle. I have 4 now lol. 1 smaller chrommie ended up stuck in ball valve after getting sucked down drain.

Wed May 17th I added a pair of Ocellaris Clowns, 5 small Scarlet hermits, and a Strawberry White Tip Hermit(he's huge)

MORE TO COME .

Nice! The equipment has come a long way. I like that you're not going for the equivalent of a neon glowing gaming pc. Should be a cool build
Thank you! I have to many videos, not enough pics for here. I'll try to incorporate more shots of scape.

Gotta get new skimmer, not sure if I'm getting reef octopus sss110 or red sea rsk300

I like that you left some room. Planning on acros?
Softies at first, the scape ranges in height only to prepare for light reqs. I still have time to decide which, I'm thinking after 6 months zoa garden, gsp, and a toadstool/ frog to start.
I did and still have some nice rocks that are separated for the gsp and zoas.

I do have a question about skimmers.

Which in my case is 75g build medium stock would be best, and of course your experience with either.

Redsea RSK 300
Reef Octopus Classic SSS 150
