Hello guys and gals,
would like to share my SPS ( mostly acro ) dominated reef tank.

The tank is 7 months old.
All the livestock is from my older tank. I just transferred everything into this new glass box 7 months ago.
A couple of the bigger colonies are 2-3 years old , some of the smaller frags were added after the new tank was set up.

The display is a shallow lagoon style
44x28x14 inches around 70 ish gallons + the sump around 15 gallons.

feel free to ask anything

Welcome! Healthy looking system, how long have you had the dart fish?

Thank you, I added them 7 months ago.
But they are big jumpers so a cover net is a must, otherwise they are very interesting and colorful fish.A bit less common in the hobby I guess.

We have similar fish tastes. I have a tomini tang and 3 zebra barred dartfish. Love your tank, hope to add some SPS to mine in the future. Not yet, still learning!

What filtration are you running? I saw your acros spawning!
ATB skimmer, filtersock I think it’s 100 micron so it let’s the fine stuff thrue, chaeto reactor the new one from Tunze but before that I had just the skimmer and the sock.
And I run GAC in a sock and it is just floating in the sump with mild flow around it.
And weekly waterchanges 10 or 20 % depends on my mood and how the corals look :)

I also have 5 chromis in there and a scopas tang and a pair of sixline wrasses.
13 fish but I might add a couple more chromis I just love them and also because of the nutrients.

I bet they do .
48” ?
how many bulbs and bulbs are you using ?
The tank is 44” long and 28” wide 13,5” high.
The lights are the 24” powermodules from ATI, 12 bulbs 10” from water surface.
Actually I want to add a couple kessils or orphek lightbars for even more light:)

Yesss! Another ATI T5 fan! :) You have a gorgeous setup!!!
Thank you, actually I am not a fan of ATI, I just haven’t found anything better for t5 :)

Six lines can become little pistols
They are model citizens, definately my favorite fish in my tank.
If you keep a pair of them like me they behave really well :)
