Why do they pick spots like this? It split a couple months ago almost killed one of my clowns (at least I think that's what happened his lines had black areas he pretty much was looking terrible then disappeared for a week) 1 of clones stayed close to the spot I picked, the other went for a walk and now sits a return at the top.

And that's exactly the reason I don't keep anemone any longer. There's little explanation as to why the move to certain spots. There's probably a lot of variables that go into it, like surface area......
Beautiful clone.

Just grab it. That's the dream, it's like it wants out of the tank

Looks like it's seeking out more light, how is the tank lit?

Yep, looks like an anemone doing anemone things. I had one where it would stay on top of the aquascape, decide it didn’t want to be there and move to the back corner of the scape to where I couldn’t see it.

Same issue. this fricking Colorado sunburst is wreaking havoc in my tank. just split and now I have 2 little brats in the tank. found it attached to my $350 Chalice this morning. Lighting good, water good. he's just a brat I guess.

I love anemone but I cant lie, they tick me off at times... when they move and latch on to Acro and kill them and such. Nothing like seeing my Clowns all nessled up in them.
