My battle against AEFW

Never heard of peroxide and aefw. What effect does 3% peroxide addition "in tank" have on aefw. You said it makes them "on the move and starves them"? Have you had success with this?

Yes peroxide is an irritant (or a killer depending on dosage amount)
Its a cool thing to watch :-)
There is a simple way to verify this.
After a FW dip of an infected coral, I know its hard on the coral but at that point its already in trouble.
Suck up some of those bad boys into a white container or cup (small 2 cup volume)
Add 5 drops of peroxide and observe :-)
Its an oxidizer and since there is no exoskeleton starts to irritate their sensitive skin

Todd, can you provide a Peroxide mix per gallon of tank water, I looked every where and can't find that link anywhere.

Haha no this is just where I grow them so I can control how many I test with.
When I move on to a different species I use peroxide to wipe them out then 100% WC

I absolutely love what I do :-)

Last week.

I do want to see some testing done for sure - just don't post "solutions" until you've done some extensive testing.

I think freshwater dips would negate any test validity due to the stress imposed on the coral. Bayer works with very little stress.

Or does FW mean flatworm? Hrmmm

Testing started in October.

Never stated it was a solution to the problem in this thread.
I stated I recommend peroxide in conjunction with dipping :-)
So now go grab a cup put some in and see what happens ;)

Retirement is fun!
