the corals across the top of the tank are called coral..so easy to grow and when the branches get too long I cut them and jam into cracks in the rock to grow more. The 'red' one is due to the red led's above it. The colour is mainly pink/grey...wow..the site wont let me use the name..it has 5 letters, begins with a P and is another word for a cat ??? second letter is a 'u'. then 's'..then 's' then a 'y'Are those all soft corals on tops, do you have name for the one that is red?
Any gorgonian?
Did you start the nopox because of low values of N/P?
Do you purposely feed the corals (other than nopox) and if so what do you use, do you feed heavily?
The nopox is dosed because of the heavy bio load caused by the coral and fish. I like to keep the nitrate around 2 - 5.
Do I feed the corals ?....I add phytoplankton every few days ( I culture my own ) and other than that..no.
Do I feed heavily....not really. I use a mixture of flake, frozen and pellets and feed once a day.
