Hello All. The name of my tank is Blite! Not sure why I named it that, but it will work. I just started it in December and I have very high hopes for it. I already made some adjustments and I'm sure there will be plenty more. I will post plenty of pics and unfortunately continue to spend plenty of money. My goal is to have the reef tank of my dreams.

I say dreams because I have to really figure out how to get what I want. I'm not even sure if I can have anemones and corals live together yet. I purchased a reefer 350 and many accessories thus far. I'll list them all later in this thread (with Pics)! Thanks in advance for all the questions I will need answers to!

hello. Ok, so today I'm going to focus on the sump. I have an issue where the thermometer doesn't fit quite right. I will install the Octopus Classic150-Int skimmer. I will also put a little Black sand in the first chamber where the socks are. I have a sandless display, so I hope to change/clean the sand in the sump often.

Ok. So that small part is done. Did a sand bed 8*7* 3 inches deep. I also added the skimmer. I will figure out how to adjust it later. I definitely have to get another heater that can fit decent in another chamber. I'm looking for a 300W Neo-Therm Submersible Heater - Cobalt Aquatics. The Red Ogo should be here tomorrow or Wednesday. My thinking is that a successful refugium will lead to a successful DT! we will see. So far the Damsels and Chromis in the DT are ok. The Tank continues to Brown!! 20210208_174611.jpg 20210208_174605.jpg 20210208_174551.jpg

very frustrating day! The kit for my Vectra M2 Pump came so I put the fittings on and swapped out the pumps. OMG. The flow is so much better. But the Reefer had a very hard time adjusting to all the flow. The noise, time, and adjusting were hours. After about 5 hours I hope I have it right. those Templates on the Mobius app dropped the M2 to 4%, then the nightmare started over again. I don't see how or why I would change the speed of the pump for feedings or other templates if the Reefer valve won't self adjust. I have a lot to learn about the pump & powerheads. Especially since I have the M2 and 3 MP40s. I ended up running the pump at 50%. I hope it stays there for a few days..... we will see!
