I brought my anemone a month ago, and it was looking fine a fluffy

I noticed how some bubbles started to lose its shape and on the right side the bubbles weren't opening anymore:

I saw my shrimp going at it, since that day he's been moved

It's been a week since then, and I am just worried that the anemone is sick, this is how it looks right now. The mouth is not always open but right now is, and during the day it deflates and inflates but never to its normal shape but a small round tentacle.

I've been reading about it and some people treat them with cipro (if I can get it) is this advised? I don't want to add extra stress. Is it dying and should I pull it out?

My parameters:
Temp: 78
Alkalinity 6.4
Nitrate 20
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
Salinity 1.024
pH 8

My tank is 8 months old

My lights are AI Prime and Nero 3 for the flow
Thanks for any help! 1617037018248.png 1617037068957.png

We’ve all been there :( I think alkalinity is very low , the recommended levels are 7-11 , I choose to keep mine around 9 to allow for a little over or under, do you dose for alk / cal? Or water change? what is the size of tank ? Anemone looks sad but I think can bounce back

I've noticed the alkalinity was low so I started today Seachem's Reef Builder and Complete, my tank is a nano 20gl. And tomorrow is water change day, I do 10% weekly.

The only thing I can thing of is either bacterial infection of anemone which will need cipro( last ditch approach) or the alkalinity isn’t stable and causing nem issues , any alk swings can affect nems especially if over 1dkh a day , not sure if yr tank is consuming a lot what salt do you use?

What salt mix do you use? Can also use baking soda in top off water to maintain your alk levels. There are calculators in the chemistry forum.

When I would mix instant ocean the alk started at 11dkh, 11dkh to 6 would be a huge swing and cause issues , have you measured what yr salt mixes at?
Actually no, tomorrow I am doing a water change (should I do it today?) and I will test it.

Slowly increase salinity to 1.026 - 1.027 it will also have the added benefit of increasing your alkalinity slowly as well. Reef Crystal's usually has really high alk. Are you using tap water or RODI water for your water changes?

Yes , measure what yr salt mixes at and try to maintain the levels just under ; that way when you water chang it will only ever increase levels slightly

Will do, thank you so much.
I will increase little by little, and hopefully, my bubble comes back.
