Im using a Canon 50mm f/1.8!Its the cheapest Canon 50mm lences,I paid $70 bucks for a used one,I also used a stock lens on the acan picture! The 50mm lens is OK,but it is pretty cheap build, but will do the job!LOL

I like the first one to!

Unfortunately, a lot of it is going to be in the lens. Off the bat, I'd turn pumps off. After that, what you'll want to do is play around with the f stop, shutter speed and ISO - think of these as your big three (Ca, Alk, Mg). The longer your shutter is open, the more saturated your colors will be. To balance this, you'll want to use a lower ISO in order to prevent washout. Someone else will have to chime in with f stop/aperture. Oh, and buy a tripod and remote so you can be away from the camera to take advantage of your slower shutter speed.

And I have a tri pod,but didnt use it this time,I didnt feel like i needed it till I got into it even more....
My shutter was 1/125 I did adjust it around a bit from 1/120-250,that was my diffirent points for me!

It's all about playing around and looking at what you did differently. I love photography, but nothing too serious. The challenges of taking accurate pictures of our reefs are so different than landscapes etc. The pics themselves look good though!

Does the t2i have underwater mode, i think most nicer canons do. It helps get more accurate colors when taking pics of things that are underwater
