Hey fellow reefers figured I would post a picture of my clam (sorry if it its in the wrong forum)

This is when i first got it, dont mind the snails they wanted to investigate the newcomer

I cant wait for mine to get larger, i was surprised on how much mine grew in such a short period of time

Well done. Most people do not keep clams for that long. Does it have new shell growth? If so, then you are doing very well.

Yeah it has new shell growth, and what's more surprising is I'm using some crappy LEDs but the coral is at the very top of the tank

I’ve had my duresa just over a year and the blue maxima just over a month.
I'm just really happy on how it's doing, wish it was a little more colorful but I'm happy

I’ll bet that thing is beautiful under blues. Squamosa?
It doesn't look bad under blues and I believe the lfs said it was a maxima but I'm not 100% sure

Yea, now that I look at it again the Shell is taller than it is wide and the scutes are pretty close together.
I'm somewhat surprised it's still living considering my nitrates are sky high, though I think it's loving it. It's always nice and open, though right now it's camera shy
