Actually really like how the food turned out.

Seems to hit everything from filter feeders to decent meaty chunks for the fish. The filter feeder cubes seemed to be pure concentrated phytoplankton and zooplankton which gave it the deep green colour.

Oh yeah… lfs day

New sponge, new gorg, a beauty of a red porcelain crab, A squat lobster which should hopefully be hosted by a gorgonian which should be awesome, and a cute trimma which has found home amongst my pinnogorgonia colonies.

How cool is this! The Gorgonian is hosting the squat lobster, you can make out his claws on the far side:

Trimma has found a home, don’t actually know what specific species he is.

The awesome red porcelain found a cave:

Little ******* flatworm has survived 2 treatments of Flatwrom Exit at 6x the recommended dosage with the FWE not being removed for 48hours. Not a clue what I can do about these guys now…

what the name of that gorg, on the right side yellow polyps with darker base?

Is that a yellow Fiji leather I see?

Hey dudes, sorry for the late reply! Not a clue what the gorgonian is ... just some random one I was able to find at the LFS. The selection and ID of gorg's here is very much 'take what you can get'

It is indeed a Fiji Yellow Toadstool :) May be the priciest piece in the tank!

What is the red algae on the left Peter, tank looks awesome
Hi sixty, thank you very much. I’m not actually sure to be honest. I don’t even know where or how I got it.
Individual stems look like this:

I am fairly certain in an ID of Gracillaria. Beyond that I can’t be sure. I think it’s likely Parvispora

It is also known as birds nest for a minute it looked like bryothamnion, not seen any large colonies of it.

It’s coming together. I have a really good vision of where I want this tan to go. All it requires is a litttttleee bit of growth.
Got some new macro algaes off Esox, and some incredibly generous sized gorgonian frags off Gavin. One arrived slightly damaged but has healed remarkably quickly.
I do still have dinoflagellates smothering my macros and gorgonians, although not tk a harmful degree more it seems more just annoying them and probably stunning growth a bit, hence the airlines and UV filter. Dosing pods and phyto, lowered lights and lots of turkey bastering. Still, some pics of the new arrivals:

Looking stunning as always, I can see your vision for this tank.
