I'll try it out. Thanks!

I'd feel more comfortable if you did more researching and reading among these forums the use of Lugols Iodine

A tiny bit will help heal tissue !BUT! it is WICKED stuff if you cross the Iodine threshold of natural seawater.

The procedure I laid out should only be done at a maximum of 1x per week and only for a few sequential weeks. Not an ongoing regiment

Read up!

You probably want to try to slowly lower your alk. I don't know what your phosphate is but if it's low, 10 alk can burn. I changed my calcium reactor media and my alk jumped to 10 for a couple of days until I caught it and I still have a few things angry.

Check all your plugs and in tank equipment as well. You might have an exposed wire or some toxin from the move. If you have one available, it might be worth it to send in an ICP test just to cover your bases.

I think you guys r making this a little harder than it has to be... If u use a high end salt. That has all you micronutrients imperfect balance the more water changes you do will just balance your tank out better with each water change if it's still declining after you completely change the water over to perfectly clean fresh mix something else is wrong other than water perimeters. it could totally be a situation of you just have to ride the storm and hope your acclimation process was good enough.
