My DIY fish food **Pic Heavy**

Just thought I would share my routine for making my fishes food.

I chose Cod, Scallops, Raw Shrimp and Fresh Oysters.

Everything laid out and ready for chopping. I let this sit in the freezer for about 20 minutes to harden up a little.

After finely chopping. A razor sharp knife really helps. Thanks Shun!

I like to add some BRS Reef Chilli, Selcon for Vitamins and a little Garlic Extreme to really drive the fish crazy.

Then I press it out flat in freezer bags.

Do you add anything for herbivores such as Nori, Seaweed, etc???

And into the freezer it goes. Now all I have to do is open the bag and break off a chunk when I'm ready to feed my fish.

What’s in the “fish food” bottle?

Its BRS Reef Chilli and Reef Roids in RODI. It works better after its dehydrated. I squirt it in a small cup and thaw the fish food in it. Corals and fish are happy happy happy!

Yes, I add Nori to a clip everyday also.

Have you calculated the costs versus Reef Frenzy?

Not sure how much reef frenzy cost? I spent less than $10 and made three quart bags full that should last a month each. Not counting the oysters that were $7 a dozen but I buy those all the time because I love oysters and I ate most of them.

im interested in this but my wrasses and clowns are very big so im wondering if i can chop them up small enough. or put in mincer but worried it would just become mush and not pieces????
