My experience with Phosphate E after 2 years usage. It's a game changer. I have a 120 gallon reef tank with 40 gallon basement sump. I was having problems keeping my Nitrates and Phosphates in check. If I ran my refugium lights long enough to keep my Phosphates between .05 and .08 my nitrates would bottom out. I then had to dose Nitrates to keep them up. I tried cutting back on various foods, but I never could get a balance. I started dosing Phosphate E into my Clarisea SK- 5000 filter roller. (I had read that I needed a smaller micron sock to dose into, and that it would hurt my tangs if I didn't use the smaller micron sock.) I tried it anyways because I was truly frustrated and about to give up. Well 2 years later I have kept my Nitrates via refugium (Cheato) exactly where I want them between 5-10 if they get above 10 I increase hours lights on in refugium and if they go close to 5 I decrease light time in refugium. I simply dose Phosphate E to keep Phosphates exactly where I want them between .05-.08. I have a Yellow Tang, Powder Blue Tang, and Tomi Tang and they all have been perfectly healthy the whole way. I do make my own DIY mixture that is 120ml of Phoshate E to 1 gallon RO DI water. I then dose this mixture into the filter roller as needed via a dosing pump. I'm currently dosing about 50ml a day spread out equally over 24 hours. I am not an expert and I can't say for sure your results will be the same as mine. I just wanted to put this out there that dosing Phosphate E into the filter roller has been safe for me for 2 years and I think that is plenty long enough to do an honest educated review. I truly hope this helps somebody out there, because this forum has helped me so much, and I would like to give back a little to someone else.
