Does anyone know if when I set up my tank should I put a piece of foam under the stand to make sure it is level? Or should I just put it syraight on the floor?

My next step is to figure out the layout of the tank. not sure how to set it up as far as islands, caves, bridges, or what ever else is out there. Any Advice? or any one with a corner tank that has pics of the aquascaping?
