Hey there,
I have a 80g rimless I set up recently and I wasn't sure what direction I was going to go with it. I was loving all the zoas, and acans and everything I saw online, and I like the movement of some LPS. So after my tank was cycled and ready to go I bought a few frags, some zoas, and palys. I liked them, but something about them was just different than the close up macros you see on all the websites, I liked them, but they were just not hitting the mark for me. So I got a frag of bird of paradise and a bonsai, and I fell in love with SPS. I feel like pictures make some coral species look better, but pictures can hardly do SPS justice. So I have decided to make my tank SPS dominant. I have a dosing regime set up and I test frequently. this is not my first reef tank, so I have a pretty strong understanding of the basics.
My system is lit by a photo v2 48'' and I have a RO 110 skimmer, and a nice size refugium on the sump. all is well so far. I have been dipping all frags with coral RX, but I am going to switch to the bayer dip soon, at the recommendation of another reef I trust. So enough text, here are some pictures of my first round of acro's (still working on my photography skills)
