Been reefing for little over a year. My friend has many large saltwater tanks and convinced me to get my own. Its a low tech tank. Have had some road bumps but i would say i have been quite successful.
Heres some pics over the year.

Ive had my share of problems along the way with unwanted bacteria, and flatworms. Im pretty happy with it. For my first tank, low budget, and surviving a move, id call it a win. Lots to learn still. Stand and light stand was all handmade.

If you want pictures of coral progression or want to know what ive been doing ask away!

I love that tank! At one point I had considered a similar one, but didn't think I could make the scape/lighting work. You nailed it!

New corals added. Owner at my LFS wanted me to try a little acropora. Also got a stick of a red SPS. Traded in my frogspawn corals for another one. Also got some eagle eye zoas. Got a little green hair and cyano problem, but NO3 still reading low. Also got a court jester goby.
