Just picked this up from a frag swap last night.

It's my first chalice. One questions though, why don't I see any eyes on it? Are they just really tiny compared to the ones I see online or does it just have none?

Sara,

I can sort of make out where the coralites are. It looks like it is just browned out but given some time and care it will be very nice.

Just changed from 10K's to 14K's. The chalice looks much better under the bluer lights!

Thanks Bret!

That's weird. Too bad, I like the ones with big, bright eyes! lol. Mine does have tiny mouths. I could only see them, because they were all expelling long, stringy brown waste the day after I added it to my tank.

some chalices dont really show defined eyes. that appears to be one of those types. I have a few of them, and they are still very nice.

Take a look at night, do the sweepers look like there are coming out of of everywhere? Those types for me have 10x as many sweepers...
