My first ever reef tank

Just thought I would show my tank. It is just over a year old. I have been battling cyano bacteria. Though recently I have gotten that mostly taken care of. Now I am battling green hair algae.

I built the aquascape myself and have two aqeon power heads and two ai prime 16 hd. I have a hang on back overflow, going into the skimmer and I also have a refugium

Also I really don't know where to put many corals so any advice would be great

Would recommend tangs for the hair algae, pretty much lawnmowers, keep corals spaced out especially those with sweeper tentacles
