my first real build

hi to everyone well i guess this is my attempt at a build thread, i did alot of looking around trying to decide what size and brand of tank i was going to buy i did not want to go too big because of space in the room i will be installing it in this will be replacing a 29gal biocube setup , finaly decided on a planet aquarium 36x24x16 67-68 ish gal tank then decided to go with a tideline 30 sump from trigger systems, after that it was time to get a stand but after searching the few options we have for mass produced stands or so called custom ones i decided ill just have to build one, ive built other things and figured at least this way i will kinda get what i want and not needing to rush thru the project as time wasnt a factor, thank goodness because this is taking forever, you will notice some post's after this that seem out of place that is because i did not like how i started this one out but be paitent with me as i'm trying to figure this all out

Looking very nice. Are you leaving the casters on when you are ready to add water?

i'm still deciding there rated high enough and reinforced enough to withstand all the weight with no problem thought it might be a nice addition

one thing i ran into is the overflow is only drilled for one drain and one return, but figured no biggie with a 30gal sump and safety features it will be fine, i decided i would build the stand with oak and line the interior with pvc just a basic 2x4 frame, oak and oak plywood for sheeting and top, top will have a recess for the tank to set in the stand will be vented by a temprature controlled fan and have rbg led lighting

this week i have been gathering all the diffrent plumbing parts and the equiptment i have to this point, i know i at least will make a few trips to the plumbing supply place, it seems you can never get everything in one trip to a hardware store

i just keep adding more and more as i go, had to get my bubble magus advertisement in for the day oh and also the trigger systems tideline 30 sump

got the dj am power strip mounted and the door re-installed
