My first reef 125g

Finished upgrading the water dispensement unit, big thanks to AquaFx.

Very nice, how many GPD it delivers?
It only has a 50gpd membrane, with my current setup I only require approximately 17 gallons per maintenance day. If the dream of a 300DD ever becomes a reality then I'll upgrade the membrane.

Thought I'd give a little update. My tank is about 16 months old now. I've had some successes and failures, all have equaled in some experience. Thanks to R2R and it's members for helping get this rookie this far, so much more to learn. Here's a recent Fts.

Very nice set up!:)

Real clean setup man. Is the return pump in the same compartment as the skimmer? How do you like having that water change dongle?

Thank you!
Yes the return Pump is in the same chamber as the skimmer, I have it in the far right back corner. The skimmer holds up several 2" sponge blocks for micro bubble traps.
That dongle has been really handy, I was on the fence whether to install one, for esthetic reasons, but I'm so glad I did!

Haven't posted anything on this thread in awhile so I thought I'd try to get a decent FTS.

Thank you! The tank is just a year and a halfish old. It's been a bit of a roller coaster, some ups, some downs. I'm finally seeing some stability. I was over feeding for many months and it caught up with me, lots of GHA. The last several months I've cut back on the food and have seen vast improvements. I recently bought a Rev4 L4 ATS from Bud of Turbo Aquatics and hope to have it plumbed and running in the next week. I'm really looking forward to putting it to work. Between it and a tighter feeding routine I'm hoping for some advancements.

Beautiful! I'm in the middle of making a reef tank as well! Keep us updated with more pictures!
