My first sps question

I just got this in today.....is it dead or will it come back.....all white.....its an ora birds of paradise.....and where should i put it in my tank.....high light or low light

Unfortunately, that one is gone. Do you know what caused it to bleach out completely?

It is dead. Is the current USA orbit the only light u have on there? BTW low or high light would not kill a coral the first day being in the tank. Stress can

I have one of those in my tank. It may just be bleached. If there is still flesh on the skeleton, it’s still alive. If it’s just a calcium skeleton, it’s dead. Mine likes high light and flow. It’s the one on the upper left.

Bought it online .....opened the box to find it all white

More then likely dead from shipping stress. Unfortuantly it happens more then we like to admit.
Contact the person/vendor you bought it from.

One is orbit marine...one is orbit ic reef light.....i have it in at about 150-160 par with random flow

Most vendors/hobbyists know these things happen, and will either refund or resend the coral(Typical DOA rules).
