I am new to the saltwater world. I have a tideline 31 gallon thats been set up for over a month cycle complete. I order a pair of clowns from drreefsquarantinedfish.com. they will be in in probably 3 weeks or so.
I have been focusing on the equipment. I am looking for recommendations on wavemakers. I am thinking a pair of nero 3s as my light and return pump are both aqua illumination. Is there anything else that would work that is cheaper or anything in the same price range I should be looking at? I want random flow and the ability to decrease flow automatically at night.

Take a look at the Jebao DMP series pumps too, these are controllable and keep the cords out of the tank, like the Scotch Vortech, but at a fraction of the price. They'd be about the same or even cheaper than the Nero's too 🙂

I have an accounting of all the hardware I'm gonna use with my upcoming 203g tank and Jebao DMPs are on the wishlist.
