My first wrasse!

Picked up my first wrasse ever today. Was an impulse buy that I blame you guys for... If you didn't talk about wrasses so much I would have never even thought of it! :)

Here he/she is!

They called it a fairy lol

And here is what they told me to feed it.

They also told me it was 100% reef safe and will get along with my other gobies. Let me know if it wont and I will find a new home.

Looks like a female fairy or flasher. Not really sure. Both of which are reef safe and most fairies and flashers are fairly peaceful fish even to their own. I feed my wrasses a mic of mysis with fresh garlic or selcon and also pellets.

It's most likely a Mccoskers flasher wrasse, hard to say without its fins flared out. I'd say a juvenile male at this point but even if it's not it will be. They start off as females but will eventually transition to male so go with a male name :) they will eat about anything you put in the tank.
