Oh man that sucks big time! I have flooded things but not like that. I feel your pain though, I lost 20 clams in one month and they were all rare.

Yea, when I do something.
I do it right or should I say totally wrong.

None of my Florida Ricordea were of the Common Type.
And with 80+ different color variation, it will be a long time before I can acquire all of them again.

Nice job with the aquascaping! You can't go wrong with florida rics, though I think you need a few more in there....

That is what happens with a Cheap ATO stays on.
&
A 75gal R/O unit runs for 10 hours on a 90gal system.
&
Your Wife calls you at work and says " There is water all over the floor "
&
You try to slowly raise the salinity over a couple of days.

Salinity ?
What Salinity ?

I almost got out of the Hobby after this happened

I had a couple of Florida's survive and are still alive after 3 months, but are not looking good.

I hope this answers your question.
It still makes me sick to my stomach thinking about it.

You can not call yourself a Hobbyist,
Until you spend a lot of $$$$$ on Corals,
Kill them,
&
Still Stay in the Hobby

This is not at all funny. But, for some reason, I just laughed so hard I spit coffee on my computer and pee'd myself...twice.

Concerning your signature...You can not propagate it if you kill it, either. (Sorry, I had to.)

This thread really shows the ups-and-downs of reef-keeping. Your determination (cough...cough...obsession) is incredible.

It is kind of like,
When I was younger,
You lose a girl friend one day
Feel Bad for a day,
Then turn around and find another one

Well, Something like that

Once it is in your blood,
It never really goes away.

A statement like this, then you choose SPS. Booo!

Keep the Rics!

At least keep a few in there, to keep us mushroom lovers happy.

Hell, this is such a great thread, I might send a Ric along, just to make sure you have one in there.

Please make sure the ATO is in perfect working order first, though.

I will attempt to add a few Yumas.
The Lighting and Flow may be a little to much for them.
But, I will give it a try.

If they do not melt before I complete the build.
These 2 will be my first test subjects.
