" This Tank will only House Florida Recordea & Florida Zoanthids "
After my " Great Disaster of "09 "
Which I lost 99% of my Zoa collection and 50% of my Ricordea.
After I cleaned up all of the " Death "
And returned the System to proper running conditions.
I had to decide on which direction to go.
And since my Ricordea fared the best through my Nightmare and colored up the Fastest.
I decided to build a " New " Ricordea System.
I will be starting small, with a 50 Breeder 36" L x 18" W X 18 H.
It will have a Closed Loop system consisting of ( 7 ) 1/2" Buld Heads.
Each Bulk Head will have its own Ball Valve to adjust flow through the Rock Work.
Then 2 Bulk Heads for the Return from the Sump.
Hear is a few picture of the Tank in the Development process.
Here is the First Version of Adjusting Valves.
I think I am up to Version # 5
I have also been working on the Rock Work.
The plan is, to get the best Flow Possible without and Dead Spots.
This is Version # 1,
Then I found some more Live Rock with better Structure.
And during the Tank Development Process, which is finally coming to the end.
I started the search for sources for Florida Ricordea.
The Local Stores are out, " no selection ".
There are a lot Web-site vendors that carry the " Common Ricoreda ".
But, Who wants the Common Colors.
Then a New R2R Sponsor came along. Paradise Corals Yumas, Ricordias
A few of Tomasz's Ricordea survived My earlier Disaster.
And He now has 3 that I need to add to my Collection.
The Best source that I could find to fill my new tank with Multiple Color Combination Florida Ricoreda was Coral Morphologic Coral Morphologic*::*Ricordea*::*WYSIWYG Ricordea
There selection is unbeatable and there Customer Service is Second to None.
And now that I have found a couple of Sources for " Need to Have " Florida Recordea, Let the Buying Begin.
I have already purchased several Ricoreda from Colin & Jared @ Coral Morphologic.
Pictures to come as soon as I sort through all of the pictures.
