According to FedEx, I'll get my Alkatronic tomorrow! Can't wait!!!

I'll be connecting it to my Apex. Can anyone tell me what cable I need to buy or if it comes with one?

Thanks!

Observe one issue so far. Is it common the app keep asking for pairing?
I check and find the green dot is on in the app

On my app it does pop up the pairing, but auto-accepts it without me needing to do anything. Are you saying that you have to click pair every time?

following, really thinking of buying one :)

I do not need an apex or anything right? I just hook this up to my CaRx to turn the C02 on and off. I can get the info to my iPhone on what each test result was?

Correct the unit is standalone. You can do exactly what you mentioned

What kind of CaRX do you have installed Mark?

So your CaRX feed pump is running (or dosing) 24 hours and you adjust the KH-level of the effluent by the times or the amount of CO2 is being pressed in the reactor, operated by the Alkatronic output?
A Vertex RX-C 6D. Honestly I don't have to adjust the kH often. Initially I used it to help me dial in the carx, but what I've found over time is I'm able to get a consistent carx pH, with a proper bubble rate, and maintain the kH. If the kH starts to creep up for some reason, the apex is set to shut off the CO2, basically disabling the carx, until the Alkatronic tests the kH and it's back in the range I want it to be in. At that point, the apex will turn the CO2 back on and things get going.

The apex also controls the CO2 if the pH gets way too low in the carx.

I don't use the Alkatronic controlled outlet to do anything. It's still in the box. I don't use pump D, either.

Without an apex, you could easily use the alkatronic to control the co2 as well by plugging the co2 power supply into the wall adapter. Don't need to control the pump on the carx for anything (either the circ pump, or the feed pump)
